Sydney's most unique religious and cultural tuition program
Important Announcement
Dar Al-Ihsan has been nurturing children for the last 11 years in Greenacre. The community and families support has been inspiring and motivating to keep us moving forward. Dar Al-Ihsan will be moving to Granville for 2025.
We are moving into a beautiful purpose built centre, currently in its completion phase, accommodating 3 to 6 year olds.
We wanted to be able to provide the most to our families with minimal out of pocket expenses too and believe this will be the best approach for our families moving forward. We understand that the distance may not be suitable for some families, therefore we are notifying you now so that you may have time to make a decision of where you would like to send your child next year.
Grow With Me Childcare in Greenacre which we also operate is available for our current families who wish to enrol for next year pending on positions.
We would love to welcome our current and new families to place their names down for a position at Dar Al-Ihsan Granville for 2025.
Kind regards,
Sadia & Anisa Khan

At Dar Al-Ihsan, the program is designed to facilitate younger children through cultural and religious values in order to assist them with their day to day etiquettes. Our focus on traditional learning, with an application of Islamic etiquette (adab) in our daily routine helps foster discipline, concentration and self-confidence.
Our aim is to teach children through hands-on and practical activities in order to provide students with a solid understanding of concepts taught. Outdoor activities are highly encouraged due to experiences with the natural world having been positively linked with the development of imagination and the sense of wonder. Wonder is an important motivator of life-long learning. It also helps children with resilience and connecting to one another.
Dar al-Ihsan prides itself on providing a program which is based on following Islamic principles of learning. There is a concentrated effort to provide a learning environment to nurture young minds. This is demonstrated through teaching students short supplications, surahs, Arabic and particularly etiquette in Islam. Through songs, craft, games, sports, animal interaction and many other diverse activities, students are able to aptly prepare for a solid start to Kindergarten. It is important to learn these things at an early age as the growing human brain can be more efficiently and more deeply strengthened and developed in the first years of life than at any other stage.
Dar al-Ihsan stands out as a premier tutoring centre as our sole focus is instilling the love of Islam in the hearts of children. Our founders of Dar Al-Ihsan are both primary trained teachers with an extensive background in Islamic, religious and Arabic studies as well as a wealth of experience. By being in the classroom with the children and by having a teacher to student ratio of 1:10, we are able to decipher exactly what level the students are at and what they need to focus on for the coming weeks. Students are also given ample one on one time with the teacher.
All lessons are taught through practical and hands on activities which are then enhanced through sensory learning and a tactile learning approach. We truly value the input of parents and assistance in completing set tasks. Preparing your child for school is an important milestone, we will focus over the course of the year to prepare your child for a classroom setting through creating a warm environment where your child feels comfortable. We endeavor to set boundaries and rules which they can follow and feel secure in their surroundings.
